An Introduction to the National Park Service

On this day, 98 years ago, President Woodrow Wilson signed a bill authorizing the creation of the United States National Park Service. Fast-forward to today, there are currently 59 national parks in the United States operated by the NPS. The NPS has expanded a lot since then, employing more than 28,000 individuals to preserve the beautiful scenery across the USA. So let’s wish the NPS a Happy Birthday while we learn more about the system as a whole. Also, with it being the NPS’ birthday, they are waiving the entrance fee to all 59 national parks. A Brief History of the World Cup

GOAAAAAALLLLL!!!!! With the United States Men’s National Team winning by a final score of 2-1 in dramatic fashion Monday evening against Ghana, the 2014 FIFA World Cup is in full swing. Although the tournament officially kicked off on June 12, the U.S. team played in their first match and the second overall match in Group G.
